TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Helen B. Wood, 87, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, in Clovis.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Tucumcari Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wood was born April 11, 1920, in Brookhaven, Miss., to Joseph Starling and Emma Bradley Starling.

She married Horace Wood on Aug. 15, 1947, in Raton.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Joe Wood of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Sue Gholson and Andria Smith, both of Tucumcari; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
