Clark (Dick) Arnold, 69, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset, formerly of Philipsburg, died March 11, 2003 at Somerset Hospital. Born March 29, 1933 in Jerome, son of Clark L. and Frances Regina (Deneen) Arnold. Preceded in death by parents; wife the former Mary (Shankey) Arnold, who died March 16, 1999; sisters Elizabeth Arnold and Lillian Steele; and brothers Samuel Arnold and Robert Arnold. Survived by sister-in-law Mrs. Robert (Betty) Arnold of Rockwood and Mrs. Samuel Ruth) Arnold of Johnstown; numerous nieces and nephews; and very special loyal friends, Charlotte Knopsnyder and April Mitchell. He was a retired employee of the YMCA in State College. He enjoyed fishing and painting and was an avid gardener, who maintained a bountiful garden while living at Siemon's. He attended Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church, the Rev. will Osman officiating. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery, Jerome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Children's Aid Home of Somerset Country at 1476 North Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
