ONEIDA: Orland M. “Al” Adams, 83, Pratt Drive, died Sunday, December 8, 2019, in Oneida Health, surrounded by his loving family, where he was a patient for the past four days.Born in Parawan, Utah, on April 16, 1936, he was the son of Orlando and Lacy Murdock Adams. A resident of the Oneida area for the past thirty years, Al was a graduate of Weber High School, Ogden, Utah and Columbia College, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He married Marie Imbriale, in Brooklyn, on March 9, 1958.Prior to his retirement, Al served for twenty-six years, with the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Master Sargent, and serving during the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. Following his retirement from the military, he was employed in sales with Sears and Roebuck.Al was a member of Kanon Valley Country Club and the Oneida Elks Lodge # 767 B.P.O.E. and enjoyed golf, socializing, being involved with veteran activities and events and especially being with his grandsons.Surviving besides his wife, Marie, are his wife, Marie, are his son and daughter-in-law, Jack C. and Corazon Adams of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his two grandsons, Alexander and Nicholas; his sister, Maureen Beeson and four brothers, Douglas, Allen, Jerry and Keith Adams; and numerous nieces and nephewsFuneral services will be held 1 PM, Friday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, 260 Main Street, Oneida, with the Reverend Richard Kapral, officiating.
