Timothy Clemon Alsobrooks, age 39, formerly of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his residence in Paris, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Cathey officiating. Graveside services will follow on a later date at 11:00 a.m. January 20, 2019 at Arlington Cemetery in Erin, TN.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday morning at the funeral home.
Tim entered this life on January 20, 1980 in Erin, TN, son to Kim Norris. Upon graduation from Houston County High School, Tim furthered his education by receiving his Bachelors of Journalism Degree at Murray State University. Prior to moving to Henry County, Tim served his community of Tennessee Ridge as a city commissioner. Tim found his love for radio when he became employed by WMUF, WLZK, WRQR and WHDM, all of which serve the Paris and McKenzie region. For sixteen years, Tim showed his versatile skills by serving as News Director, sports announcer, sales and marketing rep, and most importantly, “Tim in the A.M”.; his morning radio show of which he was extremely proud. Outside of his profession, Tim’s passion was his Atlanta Braves Baseball, his Tennessee Vols, but most importantly, his family and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Alsobrooks and grandfather, Clemon Norris.
Survivors include his loving mother, Kim Norris; grandmother, Willene Norris; aunts, Alyson (Mark) Middleton and Christy (Doug) Gold. Tim also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Madyson Middleton, Haylee Gold, Ethan Middleton and Jack Gold.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eric “Stu” Schmidt, Shaun Popp, Dale Popp, Brian “BC” Elliott, Dustin Broadbent, Bryon Bruce, Scott Hamilton, William Summers and Lance Pierce.
