William Harrison Vittetoe, 86, a resident of Sumner since 1916, died Friday in a hospital at Olympia. He was born in Iowa. Mr. Vittetoe was a member of the Sumner lodge, I.O.O.F., and the Christian church. Surviving are his wife, Nettie, two sons, Orville M. Sumner, and Kenneth, who is in the U.S. consular service at Honduras; six daughters, Mrs. G. M. Lewis, Mrs. Bernice Hintz and Mrs. Ruth Lindsey, all of Olympia; Mrs. Maude Schallenberger, Toppenish: Mrs. Dorothy LaValle, Seattle, and Mrs. June Roe of Tacoma: 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by the Funk funeral home at Sumner.
