William Lee Cardin, 57, of West Frankfort passed away on Monday December 16, 2019 at 5:15 pm at his residence.
William was born April 9, 1962 in Benton, Illinois to Sherman Winstead and Vera (Drysdale) Cardin.
He was of the Mormon faith and was a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
William loved to fish and gardening. He was known for always helping others.
He was preceded in death by his father.
William is survived by his wife Sarah; sons R Cardin and C (R) Cardin; 4 daughters S Cardin, Kara (James), E Cardin, and M Cardin; 3 grandchildren; his mother Vera Hall; brother R Cardin; 4 sisters Tina (Lonnie), Myra (Jimmy), Sandra (Michael), and Carrie.
Funeral services will be held on Friday December 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Route 37 in Johnston City.
Burial will be on the Logan Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 -2:00 pm prior to the service also at the church.
