William Roy Dover, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away December 17, 2019.

Mr. Dover served in the United State Army during WWII at the Battle of Attu. He was awarded many Commendations including being the recipient of the Purple Heart. Roy was a member of Orange Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will be Friday, December 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Orange Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Lilburn and Lena Pearl Dover; step mother, Mattie Dover; son, Ronald Dover; sister, Bea Bratton.
