Susian Marie Spurgeon, 72 of Columbus passed from this life on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 6:35 a.m. at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born on June 20, 1947 in Columbus the daughter of John Marshall and Mary Sue Smith Acton. She married Dave Spurgeon.

She worked at Lichter Rubber Products Company where she made school bus seats. She enjoyed going to flea markets, watching tv, butterflies and her pets.

Survivors include her husband, Dave Spurgeon of Columbus; brother, Mark Acton of Columbus; fur-babies, Gerstein, Bear, and Kodiak; step-daughter, Lori Ann Spurgeon; step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don (Karen) Spurgeon; sister-in-law, Mary McIntyre; close friend, Shelva; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at New Harmony Cemetery in Columbus with Dr. William Bailey officiating.
