Victor Heward Blair, age 81, passed away Feb. 17, 1994 at a local care center.
Born Aug. 20, 1912 at Blackfoot, Idaho to Albert Edward and Ruth Clarissa Heward Blair. Married Eulalia May Anderson May 28, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a High Priest in the Rose Park 1st Ward, and a temple worker. He sang in the Messiah for many years. He shared his poetry and musical talents with many. Member of the Marine Corp., World War II. Retired from Kennecott Copper Corp.
Survived by: wife, May; children, Bonnie B. Posselli of Park City, Mrs. Robert (Beckie) Rock of Holladay, Mrs. Cathy Godwin and Jeanie Blair both of Salt Lake, Robert (Faye) Blair of Syracuse, Utah; David (Heidi) Blair of Bennion, Utah; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Kenneth Blair of West Valley City; sisters, Sylvia Thomas of Provo and Ellen Blair of Reseda, Calif.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday Feb. 22nd at 12 noon in the Rose Park 1st Ward Chapel, 1153 West 800 No., S.L.C. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Mortutary, 255 So. 200 East, S.L.C. Monday 6-8 p.m. and at the Church, Tuesday 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
