Frank Masao Yoritomo, age 94, died on November 30, 2019, with his wife, Minnie Chidori Yoritomo (Hidaka), at his side in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Preceded in death by sister, Amy Wakasugi (the late George), brothers Kent (the late Chiyoko) and Leonard and parents, Soziro and Naka. Survived by Minnie and sister-in-law Ruth. Born in Alamosa, Colorado, Frank affectionately referred to the area as "the Great Sand Dunes in the San Luis Valley". A long-time resident of Golden, Colorado, Frank served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1949. Frank was also an active member of the El Jebel Shriners in Denver and was a founding member of the Denver Central Optimists Club. He was an avid sports enthusiast, fly fisherman and a longtime season ticket holder of the Denver Broncos. Frank worked at and retired from Coors Brewery in Golden.
