Baird Rites Set
For Mrs. Ballard
BAIRD (RNS) - Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Baird Baptist Church for Mrs. Florence Ballard, 67, who died Tuesday night at her home. She had been in ill health for several years.
Burial in Cross Plains Cemetery will be directed by Godfrey Funeral Home.
Born May 27, 1896 in Bell County, she was married to O. G. Ballard in O'Donnell in 1926. Mr. Ballard is retired. Mr. and Mrs. Ballard had lived here for the past 18 years.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Orin J. of Monahans and D. G. of Big Spring; one daughter, Mrs. Delta Paschall of Spur; her father, John Meador of Cross Plains; five sisters, Mrs. Nora Shirley of Rising Star, Mrs. Opal Gatlis and Mrs. Dora Champion, both of Cross Plains; Mrs. Iris Dennis of Baird and Mrs. Wilda Dennis of Jal, N.M.; two brothers, Robert and Henry Meador, both of Cross Plains and 10 grandchildren.
