Floyd was employed as an equipment operator of the city of Muskegon for 35 years. Floyd had a passion for auctions and flea markets.
On May 10, 1974 he married Marsha E. Winter and she survives him along with daughters, Geraldine (Mark) Stephan and Susan (Gerald) Nichols; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell and Harold McNeal.
