Preceded in death by his father, John D. Carter. Danny was a US Army veteran and he served in Vietnam. He was an avid horse lover and was known to many as a cowboy.
Survived by mother, Dorothy “Dot” Carter; sisters, Beverly (Clint) Harris and Gail (David) Litteral; nieces and nephews, Christi, Austin, Ellie, Emma, Summer, Will, Erica and Crew.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment with Military Honors at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel,
