Ora George "OG" Harwell, 77, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, went home to the Lord on Saturday, December 28, 2019. OG was born September 29, 1942 to Ora George and Christian Irene Harwell. He has split his time living with both of his sisters, Linda Bounds (Ben) in Hendersonville, Tennessee and Annie Erikson (Grant) in Stow, Ohio. He was a dedicated fan of NASCAR, Dodge Ram pickup trucks, and the Gaither's Homecoming videos. Anyone who has witnessed him singing along to his gospel tapes has seen true joy! The highlight of his year was always attending the National (Gospel) Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

OG was preceded in death by his brother John Randle, and is survived by his sisters, brothers in law, his niece Lisa Gerren (Neil) and nephews Mark Erikson (Anne), Eric Bounds (Jennifer), and Brian Bounds (Cassie), and his nine grandnieces and nephews.

OG's funeral service will be held at Metro Baptist Church, 322 East Cedar Street, Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm with calling hours one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Friday, January 3 at 3:00 pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy., Mobile, Alabama. Visitation with the family will be from
2:00-3:00 pm at the funeral home. He will be dearly missed, but we have the precious assurance that, in OG's own words, "see ya soon."

The family wishes to extend a "Special Thank you" to Willowbrook Hospice and Home Instead Caregivers.
