BLOSSVALE - David S. Armstrong, 68, passed away July 7, 2018.
Born in Carthage on July 13, 1949, he was the son of Earl and Betty Armstrong. He was in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1974.
David worked as a civilian in the Air Force for 34 years. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking and the ocean. He was a collector of sailboats, whales, rocks and gems.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sisters, Luella and Leona Armstrong. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Marilyn Armstrong; daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Driscoll; grandchildren, Wesley and Zachary; brothers, Mark (Cathy) Armstrong and Jeff (Wendy) Oliver; brothers and sisters-in-law, John (JoAnne) Getchonis and Fred (Nancy) Edmunds; and several nieces and nephews.
A private Celebration of David's Life will be held at a later date.
