Bonnie Faye (Sublette) Bridwell was born on August 30, 1940, in Foster, Oklahoma, to Thomas and Vivian (Denson) Sublette. She passed away on December 29, 2019 in her home surrounded by family.

As a child she moved around the state where her father worked in the oilfield. During that time, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior when she was 10 years old at the First Baptist Church in Sayre, Oklahoma. In 1954, she moved back to Lindsay, Oklahoma, where she resided the remainder of her life.

She met, fell in love, and married, Bob Bridwell. They had 60 wonderful years together, during this time they had four children. She was a wonderful homemaker and farmers wife.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, playing cards and games where she was very competitive, working cattle, spending time tending to her flower beds and yard, and volunteering at the school while her children were growing up. She was very involved in her grandchildren’s lives where she constantly influenced them with her love and wisdom.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Bob Bridwell of Lindsay, her daughters, Janna Bridwell of Pauls Valley, Robin Blough and husband Michael of Lindsay, Holly Ellis and husband Russell of Moore, her son, Shawn Bridwell and wife Heather of Lindsay, two brothers, Jerry Sublette and wife Sharon of Lindsay and Thomas Sublette and wife Vinita of Edmond, her grandchildren, Kylie Blough, Shawn Mikel Blough and wife Kaitlyn, Morgan Potts and husband John, Elizabeth, Sam, and Lily Ellis, Jewell and Grant Bridwell, and future great granddaughter Blough. She is also survived by many other family members and friends

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Vivian Sublette, a brother, Bob Sublette, two sisters, Betty Sue Sublette and Gloria Mae Sublette, and grandchildren, Robert and Rachel Ellis.
