Mrs. Jane Ann Bowman Hedrick, 46, of Poca, passed away peacefully at home on July 21, 2007.

She was born January 22, 1961, in Findlay, Ohio, to Richard and Darlene Bowman. Jane attended Poca United Methodist Church, where she was very active in the children's ministry. Jane was also very involved with children in the Poca Schools and Kelle Boggs Dance Studio, where she served as Team Captain.

She is survived by her husband, Gary, whom she married July 22, 1982; daughters, Jennifer and husband Jeff Martin of Poca and Jacy Hedrick at home; granddaughter, Megan; grandson, Blake; sister, Jill and husband David Miller of Galion, Ohio; brother, Jon and wife Leisha Bowman of Charleston; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by other extended family, Doug and Treasa Russell, Dallas and Karen Barker, Robert and Betty Caruthers, and Eric and Angie Sharp.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Thomas Memorial Hospital, Kanawha Hospice and their staff, and the community for your love and support.

A tribute to the life of Jane will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday July 25, 2007, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Peters and Pastor Jonathan Nettles officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens and Crematorium, Red House. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
