It is unknown where Mary Caldonia Vannoy is buried. I am placing her with her son & mother in New Hope. If anyone has any new info I will be glad to change the cemetery. Family records on FG show (Woane "Woshia") or (Doshia) died in childbirth. There are no Doshia's or Woane's to be found in any 1860, 1870 or 1880 census. I will keep Doshia as a possible nickname.

In tracing Hester, records have both Vannoy and Ellis as her maiden name. There is an Esther Vannoy in 1870 & 1880 in Wilkes County. Hester married David using the surname Ellis. Mary Caldonia & Hester were 1/2 sisters and had different fathers.
