Funeral for General Jackson Gober, retired textile worker, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Couch's Riverside Chapel. The Rev. J. E. Brooks and the Rev. Roy Palmer will officiate, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Austell.

Mr. Gober, 70, of Third Street NW, died Friday in a Marietta hospital. He was a native of Haralson County and was a member of the Church of God.

Surviving are the widow, the former Bessie Tibbets; sons H. E.Gober of Douglasville, J. W. of Marietta, J. T. Gober of Atlanta; sister, Mrs Leda Brannon of Atlanta; brother, Jim Gober of Douglasville; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. -Atlanta Constitution 8 Sept 1968
