Dennis Dent's Wife died of Yellow Fever and was buried in the Bealle Cemetery in 1853. No record of Dennis Dent's 1863 burial has been found, but believed to be buried with his first wife, Martha, in the Bealle Cemetery in an unmarked grave. (Many limestone markers now smooth by rain and time.)
"There has been much speculation concerning the place of his burial. He is buried at Fosters, Alabama in Tuscaloosa beside his first wife, Martha Bealle Dent, in the Bealle Dent Cemetery. Apparently their tombstones are too worn to be readable. " - From the research of S. Neilson.
