Theodore was born in Podlesie Poland (then Russia) February 21, 1883. He served in the Russian Army during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904 and migrated to the U.S. in 1907. He married Catherine Kobialka and was the father of three daughters, Catherine Biondi, Ann Kulich and Mary Lehberger. Catherine died in 1918. Theodore worked 24 years at Carnegie Illinois Steel and later United Engineering and Foundry where he worked as a maintenance man before retiring. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church and the American Russian Citizens Club.
