She grew up in Missouri and Ohio before settling in Dayton, Tennessee, where she spent the rest of her life.
She was funny and kind and loved people, and loved Jesus most of all. There is no great accomplishments that she would want to share, save one: that she fully trusted in Jesus and longed to be with him, and she has now done that.
Sharon will be missed by her husband of 34 years, Glenn "Redbird" Akin, two daughters Amber (Jake) Goins, Jordan Akin (Jim Ward) two grandchildren Wyatt and Beckett Goins, and a mulituide of family and friends.
