Born February 16, 1945 in Walton, he was the son of the late Robert and Eleanor Tyrrell Neale.
Arthur worked at Kraft in Walton, retiring after 30 plus years of dedicated service. He joined the New York Army National Guard in August of 1964 and proudly served his country for 10 years. Arthur was a past Commander of American Legion, Truman C. Tobey Post in Walton. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting with his brothers in his younger years and fishing. Arthur also was an avid golf player and loved a good game of cards.
Survivors include his sons Joseph Neale (Melissa) of Ballston Lake, NY and Randall Neale (Carol) of Bainbridge; Brother Robert Neale (Marion) of Walton and grandchildren Jaime Janus and John Janus. Arthur is also survived by 4 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Phyliss Neale whom he married May 7, 1966 at the Plymouth Community Church and brothers Gary Neale, Maurice Neale, Sr., James Neale and Keith Neale.
Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 2-4 P.M. at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. A service to celebrate Arthur's life will follow at 4 P.M. at the funeral home with Bert More officiating. A graveside service at Walton Cemetery will be held in the spring at a day and time to be announced
