Norma L. Auerweck of West Chester, Pennsylvania died Monday, January 6, 2020 at Wellington Court at Hershey's Mill. She was 98 years old. Norma was born June 27, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Charles Emil Lampe and the late Charlotte Rose Lampe (nee - Gutheridge). She is the beloved wife of the late Ferdinand John Auerweck; mother of Steven Auerweck and his wife the late Marianne and Jean Anderson and her partner William Ragsdale; grandmother of Christine Kinkead and her husband Jeffrey, Angela Schopfer and her husband Andreas, and Gregory Auerweck and his wife Stephanie; great grandmother of Colleen, Madison, Jaydon, and Joanna; sister of Miriam Parker and her husband Jimmy.

Norma was a graduate of Kensington High School in Philadelphia. She met Ferdinand through mutual friends. the two fell in love and were married April 12, 1949 in Philadelphia. Norma worked for many years in the secretarial field for Sharp & Dohme, for an insurance broker, and lastly for a grain and wheat broker in Jenkintown, PA. Norma was an avid gardener and loved to keep a tidy home. Her true love was spending time with her growing family and traveling, especially to Austria to visit her granddaughter.
