"MRS. NELLIE SCARBROUGH
Mrs. Nellie Scarbrough, 68 years old, 2908 South Fourth street, died at 11:45 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony Hospital. She is survived by seven sons, Everett, Leroy, and John, all of Terre Haute; James of Indianapolis, Archie of Hobbs, N.M., Fred of Pennsylvania, and William of Toledo, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Merritt, Mrs. Elnora Pine, and Mrs. Mary Burke, all of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Maxine Presnell of Los Angeles, Calif.; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the DeBaun Funeral Home where friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday."
