She was a member of two pioneer families of Texas County.
Educated in the old Houston Academy, she was a school teacher for several years.
At an early age she united with Ozark Baptist Church. On December 23, 1883, when the Houston church was organized by Rev. James S. Rice, she was one of the 15 charter members of this church. For several years she had been the only survivor of this group of Baptists who began the work that Houston church has carried on for the past 68 years. She had been an active church member her entire life.
In 1906, she was married to Cyrus Perry and until his death they lived in Oklahoma and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters -- Sarah Lynch Gardner, Nancy Lynch Duke, Emma Lynch; two brothers, Sanford and James Lynch.
Survivors are five nephews, D. E. Duke, Cape Giradeau, Mo.; Will Lynch of California; Roscoe Lynch, Springfield, Mo.; Floyd Lynch, Sarcoxie, Mo.; Virgil Lynch, Mountain View, Mo.; and many other relatives of the Lynch and McKinney families.
About four years ago Houston Church secured a home for Aunt Jane in the Missouri Home for Aged Baptists at Ironton, Mo., where she was given tender care and was happy in her last days.
Funeral services were Friday at the Baptist Church by Rev. L. I. Heriford. Burial was at Ozark Cemetery.
