She was born June 16, 1948, in Kingsport, to the late Clarence and Evelyn Taylor Brickey.
Shirley was a committed Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to the Gaither Homecoming Gospel music videos. She was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church.
Shirley was a retired caregiver in the Health Care industry.
A private Family Graveside Service will be held in the Garden of the Last Supper at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Dr. Phil Hoskins will officiate.
