Virginia A. Tobin, 81, of Matawan, passed away on January 5, 2020 in Holmdel, NJ.
She was born on April 10, 1938 to Joseph and Leonora Tantillo in Staten Island, NY. Virginia lived in Old Bridge, NJ before moving to Matawan, NJ in 1994 with her loving husband, William Tobin. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Del Tufo Law Firm in Matawan, NJ for 45 years until she retired in 2016.
Virginia loved trips to Atlantic City, NJ, where you could find her trying her luck at the slot machines. She enjoyed music and spending time with her family, whom she loved so much.
Virginia is survived by her son, William John Tobin Jr. and his wife Tamara of Freehold, NJ; her brother, Vincent Tantillo and his wife Claudia; and her Granddaughter, Emily Rose Tobin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William John Tobin; her brothers, Charles and Joseph Tantillo; and her sister, Leonora Martin.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Waitt Funeral Home in Morganville, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 am at the St. Clement RC Church in Matawan, NJ. Burial will take place in the Brig. W. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 11:30am in Wrightstown, NJ.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
