Katherine Zeigler Leopard, 80, of Roanoke, Va. died on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Katherine was born December 5, 1926 in Rocky Mount, Va., a daughter to the late James B. Zeigler and the late Mary Lou Parcell Zeigler. She was a graduate of the Lewis-Gale Hospital School of Nursing and was a retired registered nurse. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James B. Shelton and Carol L. Penn of Concrete, Wash.; and two grandchildren, Jessica P. Shelton and Bryan P. Shelton both of Arizona. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the South Chapel of Bassett Funeral Service. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 2 p.m. also in the South Chapel with the Rev. Ben Barbour officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
