Joel Belk, a well-known citizen of this county and for quite a while postmaster at Williamsburg, while engaged in conversation with some friends Monday night, fell heavily against one of them and failed to respond when addressed. Upon procuring a light, it was found that he had expired. The cause of his death is supposed to have been heart disease.
