Fannie L. Countryman, 73, of Columbus, died Thursday at The Medical Center.
The graveside funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Parkhill Cemetery, according to Vance Memorial Chapel, Columbus.
Mrs. Countryman was born Dec. 2, 1921, in Lizella, Ga., daughter of Alma Gordon and Arthur Burke Chapman. She was a homemaker, a Baptist, and was the widow of Sgt. 1st Class John Countryman. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Solis of Columbus; a stepson, Alfred Countryman of Woodbridge, Va.; two brothers, Arthur Chapman and Fred Chapman, both of Macon, Ga.; a sister, Eva Walker of Macon; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
