Loris... Carlisle D. Bellamy, age 89, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Bellamy was born December 15, 1930 in Longs, a son of the late Robert L. and Claudia Bellamy . He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a longtime member of Camp Swamp United Methodist Church. Mr. Bellamy spent his life as a farmer and brick mason. He was predeceased by three brothers, George Bellamy, Ralph Bellamy, and Olin Bellamy, and two sisters, Ella Faye Ritter and Jean Goodman.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Lavern Bellamy of Loris, one son, Roy Gene Bellamy (Kim) of Loris, two daughters, Kathy Brabham (Richard) of Newport News, VA, and Susan Todd (Bradley) of Conway, six grandchildren, Thomas Brabham, Danny Brabham, Victoria Bellamy, Andrew Bellamy, Erin Todd, and Caroline Todd , three brothers, William Dott Bellamy (Maxine) of Loris, John "Sonny" Bellamy (Tammy) of Loris, and Marshall Bellamy (Judy) of Loris, and one sister, Evelyn Penecki of Loris.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Camp Swamp United Methodist Church with Rev. Glen Dameron officiating. Committal services, with Military Honors, will follow in the Bellamy-Brooks Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Camp Swamp United Methodist Church, 835 Camp Swamp Road, Loris, SC 29569 or to a charity of one's choice.
