Connee Marie Roosa Feezell, daughter of Ray P. Roosa and Evelyn M. Farris Roosa, was born March 13, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri, and passed peacefully through Heaven’s Gate on Thursday afternoon, January 9, 2020 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-seven years, 9 months and twenty seven days. On September 24, 1977, she was united in marriage to William (Bill) N. Feezell in Kennett, Missouri. Connee and Bill shared a loving union and enjoyed spending each moment of their 18 year marriage together. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill, her brother, Tolbert (Tollie) R. Roosa and her great granddaughter, Emilyn Karen Basnett. She is survived by her sister, Deborah Carnett and husband, Ron of O’Fallon, Missouri, her nephew, John Linden (Lindy) Carnett, his wife, Robin and their 3 sons, John Addison (Jac), Ethan and Gavin of O’Fallon, Missouri, a niece Ronnin Gabbard and her husband, Joe and their 2 sons, Jace and Justus and daughter, Ella of Tarrytown, Georgia, a niece, Cayla and her husband, Brandon Smotherman and their 3 daughters, Nory, Tessa and Corrine of Ballwin, Missouri, her sister-in-law, Jaye Ann Roosa Smith and her husband, Robert of Tucson, Arizona, a niece, Stephanie Roosa of New Orleans, Louisiana and her 2 daughters, Ashleigh and Abigail, a niece, Katherine (Katie) and her husband, Jose’ Pimentel of Beverly Hills, California, a son, Larry Feezell and his wife, Yvonne of St. Joseph, Missouri and a daughter, Janet Feezell Basnett and her husband, Gary of Willard, Missouri, 5 grandchildren, Lisa, Sean, Erika, Melissa and Daniel, 11 great grandchildren, Elisabeth, Lauren, Maya, Rachael, Sophia, Nicole, Jared, Jordan, Alissa, Dalton and Gracen and 3 great-great grandchildren, Emmalyn, Bryson and Liam. She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. When Connee was a young child, she attended the Assembly of God Church asking the Lord into her heart at an early age. She played the piano, organ and accordion and was also a piano teacher to many. Connee was also blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She was a 1960 graduate of Lamar High School in Lamar, Missouri. She later attended Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri in the early 60s. Connee was a prayer warrior with a deep devotion to hold her family and friends before God in prayer each day. She was full of love and sometimes just gushed it on you whether you liked it or not. She made everyone feel special and she is now with Jesus enjoying all of her butterflies.
