Former nursing officer dies
A FORMER chief nursing officer for Kincardine, Miss Ettie Beazer, has died, aged 85. Originally from Bristol, her first post as a district nurse was at Tomintoul. She was appointed senior district nursing sister at Montrose in 1945. She became supervisor of nursing and allied services for Kincardine three years later, and retired from the post, which was later re-designated, in 1964. A keen painter. Miss Beazer, formerly of 14 Braeside Crescent, Stonehaven, died in House of Corse, Lumphanan, at the weekend.
