Darlene was the grocery manager of Chief Supermarkets of Warsaw and Marsh Supermarkets of Ft. Wayne. She later worked as a caregiver in Health Care for Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology, Warsaw. She was involved in the Kosciusko Co. Historical Society, Pound Museum, Oswego and the Oswego Lions Club.
Darlene is survived by daughter, Shawn (Dan) Bohnstedt of Milford, IN, Jada (Scott) Alexander- Sackschewsky of Delta, OH; son, Ryan (Dawn) Niles of Holden Beach, N.C.; sisters, Sharon (John) Clay of Warsaw, IN, Sharodene (Richard) Morris of Warsaw, IN; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Tom Alexander, son, Shannon Alexander, daughter, Meghan Wallace, brother, Charles Lowery and sister-in-law, Rosie Lowery.
