James R. Addison, 52, of North Carrollton, former longtime resident of Jackson and employee of Western Electric, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon in Winona. Funeral services: 11 a. m. Monday, Baldwin Chapel, 5235 Robinson Road.
Interment: Lakewood Memorial Park.

Survivors include: his brothers, H. R. Addison and Max G. Addison, both of Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. W. C. (Margaret) Browder, Jackson, Mrs. C. E. (Emma) Foshee of Terry; his stepmother, Mrs. Minnie Lee Addison, Fort Payne, Ala. Addison was a native of Dawson, Ala., a member of the Baptist Church and resided in Jackson from 1939 until moving to North Carrollton in 1970. He was a member of the Communications Workers of America.
