Bobbie was a very special person…someone who cared deeply for everyone she knew. She was a kind and caring human being…the type we all strive to be. She always looked at the best in everyone, everything & every situation. The utmost optimist!

Bobbie was an animal lover…raising many rabbits, sheep, goats, horses, dogs & cats throughout her lifetime. She loved all animals but also grew up on a farm so knew that God put them on this earth to feed us, protect us & provide for us. She loved her goats because they were fun & supplied milk to nourish us. She loved her sheep because they kept her grass cut short and supplied the wool she needed to spin into yarn to do her knitting and crocheting. Bobbie knew everyone and everything had a purpose on this earth and she lived her life with this in mind.

She married the love of her life, Neil, at a young age and they were together until his passing in 2014. They lived a majority of their life on a small farm in Onsted, Michigan….living there until they both passed. That little farm was their sanctuary…they never wanted to be anywhere else.

During their years together, they desired children but after suffering the loss of one pregnancy, they decided to adopt years later. They wanted to offer a loving home to two children who did not have one. So they adopted their son Adam and a couple years later, their daughter Kari. They felt complete!

They spent many years raising their children, working their small farm, raising their livestock, working full time, participating in 4H, school trips, school projects, band, etc. they were by no means rich…but they provided & had what they needed.

This woman was an inspiration to me my whole life. She was my aunt that was not blood related…we were related between chose to be. She taught me so much through the years…a love of writing, how to care for farm animals, earthing, basket weaving, all natural living, essential oils, recycling, antiques, Tupperware, Ball mason jars, spending days at the lake, loving…..and soooo much more. And at the end of her life, she chose me to care for her and help her pass over. It was an honor. It hurt to watch her slowly fade away…but she told me many times she was ok with it. She missed Neil and she wanted to go be with him. And before I knew it….she was gone. She did it in her time and in her way. But I miss her every day.

God Bless you Aunt Bobbie. ILY
