The former Susan Olive Albee was born on June 15, 1841, to parents Emily Shaw Greenough and Moses Donnell Albee. Susan was reared and educated in Malden, Middlesex, Massachusetts. At the age of 13 years, Susan, her sisters: Emily Maria Albee age 16, Angelia Sawyer Albee, age 8 & brother Frank Harvey Albee, age 4 years with their parents emigrated to Lena, Stephenson County, Illinois. They remained only a short time. Here her brother George Henry Albee was born. Also living in Stephenson County, Illinois was her Uncle Harvey Albee and family. Next her family located in Putnam County Missouri.
She return to the Boston area, where on the 6th of Jan, 1869, she married Henry Edward Bathrick. This union was blessed with one child, son Walter Henry Bathrick.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, Henry Bathrick, her parents, and her sister, Emily Maria Albee Clair.
