David C. Gibbons, 77, an electrician at General Dynamics died Friday in North Richland Hills.

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

David Gibbons was born Feb 20, 1919 in Argyle. He served in the Army in World War II in the 612th tank destroyer battalion and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of Haltom Road Baptist Church and VFW Post No. 0190. He retired after 39 years at General Dynamics. He was a history buff and an avid student of the Old West.

Survivors: Wife, Virginia Gibbons; daughters, sisters, Margaret Jones of Fort Worth and Gladys Harding of Denton; two grandsons, two granddaughters; three step grandsons, and on step granddaughter.
