Local Woman Laid To Rest
Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Hickenbottom, who passed away Sunday morning were held yesterday at 8:30 a.m. from the Winterrowd funeral home, followed by the Mass at 9 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Edward Bader in Immaculate Conception church. Music was furnished by St. Mary's school children's choir. Rev Julius Zane, pastor of St. John's church at Lostant, conducted the graveside rites in St. John's cemetery at Lostant.
Pallbearers were Thomas Locascio, Lee Rathburn, Jan Christensen, Max Heinz, Earl Maskel and Gerald Rhodes.
Attending the services were relatives and friends from Fairfield, Geneva, Clay City, Flora, Henry, Oglesby, Lostant, and the surrounding community.
