Sarah J. Mohr, age 83, of Stevens Point, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Sarah was born in Iola, Wisconsin on December 1, 1936, a daughter of the late Elsie (Parks) and Edwin Weinmann. She married Roger Mohr on September 5, 1959 in Iola, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2010.

Sarah raised her 3 children while Roger was in the Navy. She loved taking care of her grandchildren. Getting together with her family and friends was important to her. The family enjoyed going to the lutefisk dinners every year. She was big into puzzles, and also enjoyed games, cards and word search.

She is survived by: Ray (Sherry) Mohr, of Kaukauna, Jennie (Robert) Wierzba, of Rosholt and Randy Mohr of Stevens Point. She is also survived by 3 Grandchildren: Robert (Amanda) Wierzba III, Shane (Stacy) Mohr, and Cheyenne (Craig) Dekarske Mohr. 3 Great Grandchildren: Camden, Sydney and Rachael. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sarah was preceded in death by: 4 Sisters: Mildred Depry, Gertrude Honakar, Blanche Meitner, Elizabeth Jesko and 2 Brothers: Edwin and Bill Weinmann.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Iola United Methodist Church in Iola, Wisconsin with Reverend Steve Rice officiating. A Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the Church. Burial will be later in the spring at the Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Iola, Wisconsin.
