Rosalie Frances Tognarelli, age 87 of Collinsville, IL, born October 31, 1929 in Litchfield, IL, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Meridian Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, IL.
Rosalie was a beloved wife, mother, "Nana", and great-grandma. in her earier years, she was the bookkeeper of Al Tognarelli Service Center in Collinsville and served for several years as a greeter at Wal-Mart. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, IL. Rosalie enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert John Tognarelli, whom she married on January 10, 1948; and a sister, Theresa Brogliatto.
She is survived by a son, Judge Richard (Gail) Tognarelli of Troy, IL; a daughter, Annette LaFrank of Maryville, IL; four grandchildren: Lisa (Christopher) Bossetto of Collinsville, IL, Amy LaFrank of Atlanta, GA, Michael Tognarelli of Houston, TX and Mathew (Karen Fincutter) Tognarelli of Collinsville IL; and four great grandchildren : Sydnee, Hunter Gia and Ella Bossetto.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Berry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.
Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 200 N. Lange Street, Maryville, IL with Father Joseph Havrilka celebrant. Burial will be in Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
Memorials may be made to Mother of Perptual Help, Vistas Hospice, or Collinsville Memorial Public Library and will be received at the funeral home.
