THE STATE newspaper (Columbia, SC) Jul 21, 1910 - Allen C. Wyse, a brilliant young former Columbian, well known throughout the South as editor and assistant manager of The Southern Furniture Journal of High Point, N. C., died early Wednesday in Columbia, after an illness of about four weeks. He was brought to this city about a week ago.
Mr. Wyse graduated at the University of South Carolina in 1901. For a time he was manager of one of the local cigar stores here. He was a brother of J. H. and F. C. Wyse. He was unmarried.
The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at 1020 Elmwood avenue. The interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
