"Mary ROBINSON, daughter of John ROBINSON and Jane OLIVER, estimated birth January 1850 in Ohio (source: 1850 US Census, Ohio, Trumbull Co., Howland Twp. Film #444,726, age = 7/12 year)."
"Mary ROBINSON was married, 1872, to James ACHESON (1849 – 11/28/1887), son of James ACHESON (1825-1886) and Elizabeth McKINSTRY (1821-1877) [emigrant ancestors]."
"Mary ROBINSON died 8-22-1893 in Erie (source: Reed, History of Erie County, 1925). This secondary source could easily be in error by a year (you have 1892)."
"FYI, Mary ROBINSON's sister, Martha H. ROBINSON, married James ACHESON's brother, Adam K. ACHESON. They are of course also buried in Erie."
"I am a great-grandson of James ACHESON."
"The ACHESON family was involved with the South Erie Iron Works in the late 1800s. James and Elizabeth (McKINSTRY) ACHESON emigrated from what is now Northern Ireland in 1848."
