Charles was born in June of 1850 in Virginia and died between 1900 and 1910 in Texas. In 1900 they were in McKinney, Collin, Tx. Ellen and Charles were parents of 10 children, 9 living in 1900.
Their daughter Blanche Bertram Obenshain Bear was born in Wisconsin on 24 Feb of 1873. The family moved to Collin county, Texas about 1874 where their other children were born.
