Frances Marjorie Stainbrook was born November 25, 1919, near Cadmus, Kansas, and departed this life on December 28, 1940 at the age of 21 years, 1 month and 3 days. She died in a car/train wreck that also killed her sister and brother-in-law, Rachel Louise and Roscoe Morrison, and fiance Merle Talley. Known as Marjorie, her girlhood was spent in the Cadmus community. She graduated from Parker Rural High School in 1939, and was a student in the Lawrence Business College, Lawrence, Kansas.
