Rachel Louise Stainbrook was born December 12, 1917, near Cadmus, Kansas. She died December 28,1940, at the age of 23 years, 16 days. Her girlhood was spent in the Cadmus community. She graduated from the Parker Rural High School in 1937 and was married to Roscoe Morrison October 5, 1938. A daughter, Martha Marie, died in infancy. Louise died in a car/train wreck that also killed her husband and sister Frances Marjorie and her sister's fiance. The sisters were survived by the following: their parents, Aral and Ada Stainbrook; sisters, May Hightower, La Cygne, Fay Talley, Lawrence, and Mildred Ruth of the home near Cadmus; brothers, Richard and Franklin of the home; their grandmother, Mrs. Addie Pellet, and their grandfather, J. F. Stainbrook, Parker, many other relatives and friends.
