Willmo Jessie Stangl, age 96, of Westminster, Colorado passed away on Thursday January 23, 2020. Willmo was born May 23, 1923 in Lyons, CO. She was born to the late Howard and Nellie Lowe. She was the 2nd oldest of five children in the Lowe household.

In September of 1952, Lauren and Willmo married in Denver, CO. Together they had 2 daughters, Saundra and Doris, raising them just 2 blocks from the University Denver.

Willmo was a craft master, with a love for knitting, crocheting, quilting, and gardening. She loved to play bridge with her bridge club and she was always admired for her cheddar cheese popcorn. Family and friends always enjoyed her home cooked meals. She made hand stitched curtains for many of the Polo Club Residents.

Willmo is survived by her daughters, Saundra (Gary) Stotts and Doris Wigglesworth; grandsons Greg and Jon (Vanessa) Stotts, and Eric (Jamie) and Devin Wigglesworth; sisters Anna Olson and Irene (Clarence) Berry.

She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Nellie Lowe, husband Lauren V. Stangl, son-in-law Elmer Wigglesworth, sister Roberta, and brother Howard Jr.

A vistiation for Willmo will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. A memorial gathering will occur Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 9:30 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, in the Pavilion of Reflection.
