Funeral services were held in the Crossroad Baptist Church, Springfield, with Pastor R.C. McDonald officiating. Interment was in Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Thomas W. and Theresa Young Wolverton of Springfield.
He graduated from Kenton Ridge High School Class of 2000 and prior to that attended Grayville High School. During his time in High school he participated in the band, playing the drums, and competed with the swim team and track. Following high school he enlisted in the United States Army, serving several months in Iraq and had specialized training as a military police officer. He enjoyed watching NASCAR liked to go hunting deer and with his Uncle Troy also was brilliant with computers and attended Apex in Centerville.
He is survived by his parents, brother, Dr, Titus Wolverton of Beavercreek: one niece, Lorelai Rose and a nephew, Josiah Rollyn Woverton; half brother, Dr.Mike Pack of Michigan; paternal Grandmother Marjorie Jane Wolverton of Reynoldsburg; maternal Grandmother Imogene Young of West Virginia; aunts and uncles Donald, Gary, and Tim Young , Sandy Shaffer, Bob Wolverton, Janice Epperson, Barb Fisher and Mary Jennings; and numerous cousins.' He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
