Robert A. Guerra, 68, passed away this week at his residence. He was the son of Cruz C. Guerra and Dora Saenz Guerra of McAllen, Texas. He is survived by his only sister Margaret Rose Guerra of Sharyland and three aunts Becky Guerra, Vi Champion and Lucille Barrientes. His parents and grandparents preceded him in death. Bobby worked at Kenneth Fox Supply and Walmart before his retirement. He loved the City of McAllen and was a member of the Convention Board, Golf Board and Keep McAllen Beautiful. He loved his bowling leagues in McAllen and Mission, TX where he bowled on Tuesday and Thursday night. He looked forward to the Valley and State tournaments in Texas during the summer months, but most of all he loved his Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. Bobby loved the McHi class of 71' for always remembering him on his birthday "Go Bulldogs".
This is a celebration of his life. Please wear blue for his team, Dallas Cowboys. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Saturday at Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. with at rosary at 7. The Memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic , 900 S. 23rd St. Burial will be at a later date. We would like to thank Dr. Ruben Aleman and his staff for the tremendous care they gave Bobby.
